Hola,

I’m solo in the lab today which means I get to laugh and talk out loud to myself while watching everyone’s Danny the Dolphin videos.  While watching the videos, we have created categories of the characters that people present when speaking like Danny, a true Southern Californian.  These categories consist of, but are not limited to, Chill Bro Dude, Valley Gay, Urban Hipster, Nerd/Geek, Cholo/Gangster, and Their Own Voice-meaning the speaker did not give Danny a voice any different from their own.  This being said, there were definitely some cases in which someone’s natural speech fell into one of the created labels.
